Filming setup for artists

This is my easy desktop setup for filming overhead videos for Instagram & YouTube. I use it to film my watercolor art, my hand lettering & illustrating on my Ipad.

All you need for this setup is a desk, a mobile phone & a desktop mobile phone holder. I can clamp the mobile holder to my desk and pop my mobile in. It's nice and sturdy for filming, unlike other ones I tried, and you can easily film vertically for Instagram and horizontally for YouTube.

I have my desk set up near a large window because I prefer using natural window light but on gloomy Autumn days I will also use my ring light.
