I’m Angèle Kamp, an artist and graphic designer based in the Netherlands, travelling the world and collecting inspiration along the way.

The Teacher

Sharing the joy of watercolor and creativity is a big part of my practice. I teach watercolor classes and workshops both at home and abroad, and I love combining travel with creativity by volunteering and sharing my skills in different communities around the world. Every place brings new colours, stories and perspectives that inspire both my teaching and my own work.

The Traveller

As an artist, I travel to find inspiration in art, pottery, colours, and the creative traditions of different places. I love learning, exploring, and bringing those little sparks of inspiration back into my own work and teaching.

The Mother

Being a mum is a big part of who I am. My two teenage boys and I love exploring the world together. When we’re not at home in the Netherlands, you’ll often find us travelling, wandering through nature and discovering new places. I love showing them different ways of life, cultures and perspectives, and encouraging them to stay curious about the world around them.

The Creative

Watercolor is my first love, but I’m not someone who likes to stick to just one medium. I love exploring new ways to create and getting my hands messy with clay, experimenting with ceramics, making jewelry, and discovering where curiosity takes me next. There’s something about creating something beautiful from scratch that never gets old, and I’m always excited to see what I’ll want to try next.

The Designer

I’ve been creating art and design for over 20 years, and I still get ridiculously excited about learning something new. Over the years, I’ve created watercolor collections, illustrations, hand-lettered fonts, and all sorts of creative graphic designs for people and products around the world.
